Cascade Fountains has its roots in Florida’s water management industry dating back to 1978, when founder Richard Johnson relocated from Connecticut to South Florida and began developing accounts for a lake and water management company.

Richard later established his own lake and pond maintenance business while representing commercial fountain systems throughout Florida. Together with his wife, Annemarie, and son, Steven, the family formed Aqua-Ject, initially operating alongside Coastal Aquatics.

As the fountain side of the business continued to grow, the family made the decision to concentrate exclusively on fountains and water features. After representing the Cascade Fountains product line in South Florida during the 1980s, Richard acquired the Cascade Fountains business in 1987.

Today, Cascade Fountains serves customers throughout Florida from operations in South and Central Florida, providing fountain manufacturing, custom water-feature design, installation, maintenance, repair, lighting, control systems and aeration.

Fountain Design Group, Inc. was later established to support the company’s expanding design, manufacturing and specialty water-feature capabilities. More than four decades after Richard first entered Florida’s water management industry, Cascade Fountains remains a family-operated company built around practical experience, in-house capabilities and long-term service to its customers.
